Terms of Service

1. Operator and scope

SerieSensei is an independent, non-commercial project made available free of charge by a private individual under the project name MojaLab. It is not operated by a company and has no VAT number. Operator and contact information appears in the Legal Notice.

These Terms govern your use of seriesensei.mojalab.com. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Age eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SerieSensei. The gate exists because the AI searches and recommends from a broad television catalogue without filtering results by age classification; it can therefore show titles, descriptions, mature themes, or trailers unsuitable for minors even when they were not explicitly requested. By continuing through the age gate, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, you must not use the service.

3. AI transparency and limitations

• You are interacting with an artificial intelligence system, not a person. Replies, summaries, rankings, and recommendations are generated or assisted by AI.
• AI can hallucinate and produce inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, biased, or offensive content. Verify factual information independently.
• Recommendations are for entertainment only and are not professional, medical, legal, financial, safety, or age-suitability advice.
• Spoiler controls are best-effort and cannot guarantee that every spoiler will be hidden.

4. Public-beta availability

SerieSensei is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features, models, data sources, quotas, and stored beta data may change. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent preservation of data.

We may limit, suspend, reset, or discontinue the service where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, technical limits, or the conclusion of the beta. Where reasonably possible, material planned changes will be announced in advance.

5. Guest use and accounts

You may chat as a guest. Google sign-in is optional and enables cross-device lists, progress, conversation memory, data export, and account deletion. You are responsible for access to your Google account and device.

You can download your account data or delete the account from Manage → Privacy & data. Deletion is irreversible, subject to temporary residual disaster-recovery copies described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Your content and conduct

You retain any rights you hold in messages you submit. You give the operator only the permission needed to process those messages to operate, secure, personalize, and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy.

Do not submit confidential or sensitive personal information. Do not use SerieSensei to:

• break the law, infringe another person's rights, harass, threaten, exploit, or deceive;
• upload malware, probe security, bypass access controls or quotas, automate abusive traffic, or disrupt the service;
• obtain or disclose credentials, personal data, or restricted system information;
• misrepresent AI output as verified professional advice or as human-authored communication where that would mislead others.

7. Third-party services and content

SerieSensei depends on external AI, hosting, authentication, research, geolocation, catalogue, news, and media providers. Their availability and content are outside the operator's control. The service uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. TV metadata, artwork, links, availability, and trailers may be inaccurate or subject to third-party rights and terms.

Opening an external link or trailer connects you to the relevant provider. See the Privacy Policy for the categories of providers and data involved.

8. Intellectual property

The SerieSensei interface, original branding, and original code or copy are protected to the extent provided by law. Third-party names, trademarks, metadata, artwork, videos, and articles remain the property of their respective owners. No licence is granted beyond ordinary personal use of the beta.

9. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains the personal data processed, purposes, legal bases, providers, international transfers, retention, security, and your rights. It forms part of the information provided before you use an account or chat feature.

10. Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator does not provide warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by reliance on AI output, third-party content, beta interruption, or loss of non-essential beta data.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot be excluded or limited under Italian or EU law, including mandatory consumer protections where they apply.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time and delete a signed-in account. We may suspend access for abuse, security risk, unlawful activity, or material breach of these Terms. Account data is then handled according to the Privacy Policy and applicable retention duties.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the beta evolves. The effective date will change, and material updates will be shown in the service before taking effect where reasonably possible. Continuing after an update means accepting the revised Terms; otherwise, stop using the service and delete your account.

13. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Mandatory rules on jurisdiction and consumer protection remain unaffected; no clause requires a consumer to give up a court or remedy that applicable law guarantees.
